Michael was born and raised in the Parkville area of Baltimore City, and has had a part in ownership or management of numerous local companies. In his teens and twenties, he founded Greenskeepers and Creighton Lawn Care, residential and commercial grounds keeping companies. He became a partner and owner of one of Baltimore’s oldest retail bakeries, has been the manager of several multimillion-dollar departments within big-box retail home improvement companies, as well as a convenience store manager. Since 2000, he has owned several residential rental properties, co-founded Tenant-Ready Services, Kelly Home Services, and InSight Inspections with his wife Debbie, and most recently, Party Horse, an equine caricature themed giftware company with his wife Debbie and daughter Rosie.
Growing up in Cockeysville, MD, Debbie has an extremely diverse background, giving her the rare ability to relate to people from almost any background. Accredited by the State of Maryland as a Lead Paint Inspector since 2004, she has also had successful careers in several other industries, including truck driving and Terminal management, addictions treatment, restaurant server, as an owner and partner at Tenant-Ready Services (an investment property management and maintenance company), Kelly Home Services, and InSight Inspections. Other recent ventures include founding Party Horse, an equine caricature themed giftware company with her husband Michael and daughter Rosie.
Michael Jr. is the newest family member to enter the residential rental property Lead Inspection business, founding North East Inspections to extend the reach of the family’s lead inspection companies across the entire State of Maryland. Michael also has a varied background, having held positions in security, automotive mechanics, and residential construction prior to founding North East Inspections.
